Today, on March 8, 2023, Linnovate Partners celebrate International Women’s Day, marking the occasion with an all-female breakfast in the office. What’s more, all offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, Shenzhen, Beijing and the US joined together and connected via Zoom, making the event a truly global celebration.
The breakfast was attended by women from all levels of the company and created an opportunity for everyone to connect, share their experiences, and support each other. The breakfast was a celebration of the progress made towards gender equality and a reminder that the organization stands against all bias towards women.
During the event, Ms. Vivian Wong, Managing Director of Operations, and Ms. Cecilia Cheung, Managing Director of Compliance, spoke about the importance of celebrating women’s day and how all women in the workplace can be each other’s allies to raise awareness for women’s equality. They highlighted the need to recognize and challenge unconscious biases that can hold women back, such as assumptions about their abilities or roles and encouraged them to stand up for themselves, push for change, forge their own path, and support their female peers. Lastly, they also emphasized the importance of creating a workplace culture that values diversity and inclusion.
The breakfast was a powerful reminder of the contributions that women make to our company and society as a whole. We are proud to celebrate International Women’s Day and will continue to work towards gender equality in the workplace and beyond.
